Since Colorama’s founding, we’ve continuously explored new ways to share our resources, knowledge and to bring like-minded individuals and collectives together. We run an ongoing workshop program, curate a yearly event-series and host a membership program.
The Colorama Workshop is a platform for sharing our resources with the wider community, helping people to learn, to connect and to develop new skills in printing, publishing and book-binding outside of institutional structures.
In addition to our educational program, we host institutions, organizations and studios for custom workshops and collaborate with museums and Art Book Fairs to develop formats in their programming.

We offer an Open Access Program for members of the FLINTA* community with limited resources, providing access to our studio space and the tools needed to self-publish or produce art.
New members will be admitted starting in October 2026. The application process will be announced in August 2026.
Event Series
We host public events that we conceptualize for our community, occasionally supported by public funding. Recent series include Publishing as Collective Practice and, in 2022/23, Clubhouse Surgery. Our self-funded event series, Many Hands Make, ran in July 2025 and will return in July 2026.
Residencies
Since 2016, we have hosted residency programs that are free of charge and aim to spotlight outstanding talent and social engagement.
Studio Pass — a way to have access to our space, use the machines and work on your own projects with our tools and guidance.
